利用規約 Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ミステリー日本語, operated by Lattice Logic Pte. Ltd. of Singapore. By using the app you agree to them.

The service

A Japanese-learning app. Everything is free for the first 7 days after you first open it. After that the first 10 lessons of every level (and of each of N1's two worlds), かな, 辞書, 書き取り, 復習 and the first mock paper of each level stay free, and the rest of the course is available with a paid subscription. We may add, revise or reorganize lessons as the course grows.

Subscriptions

• US$2.99 a month or US$19.99 a year. In the Android app, Google Play shows the price in your currency.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Stop renewal any time in 設定, or by writing to support@latticelogic.app; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. A subscription bought in the Android app is managed and cancelled in Google Play, which 設定 links to, and is also subject to Google Play's terms.
• If a price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal, with notice before it takes effect.

Refunds

• Cancelling stops the next renewal; access runs to the end of the period paid for.
• In the app, under 設定, you can refund your latest charge in full within 7 days of it, once per account, whether you bought on the web or in the Android app. The plan ends at once, and the money goes back to the original payment method.
• Beyond that, we refund a charge made after you cancelled, a period charged twice, a subscription a fault on our side kept from working, and a renewal you did not intend that you tell us about within 7 days of the charge: write to support@latticelogic.app with the charge date.
• A Google Play purchase is refunded through Google Play's own process.
• Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

Third-party data

The dictionary's kanji facts, the stroke order for writing practice and the fonts come from third parties under their own licences, credited with links on the dictionary's 出典 (Sources) page. None of them is affiliated with this app.

Fair use

The app is licensed to you personally, for learning. Reselling access, scraping content, or interfering with the service is not permitted.

Content

Lessons, dialogues and artwork are ours or licensed to us. Your progress is yours.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore. Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class action.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date below reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
